Over 620 companies from 31 countries participated in this year’s edition of MSPO 2019, the largest fair in this part of Europe. Airbus Group, the parent entity of Airbus Poland S.A., also presented its activities in Kielce, during the 27th International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO.
AIRBUS PARTICIPATED IN MSPO 2019
It was a perfect opportunity to emphasise the company’s involvement in the Polish market and to demonstrate its commitment to the customers in Poland. The company also had a chance of presenting the end-to-end offer of systems and services from the fields of aviation and defence, as well as form the space and security sectors. The activity of Airbus in the Polish market embraces research, manufacturing, upgrade and servicing of aircraft. In Poland, the Group employs nearly 1000 people. At its stand in the exhibition hall (F-26), Airbus showed the C295, MRTT and A400M aircraft models being the Group’s response to certain national aviation procurement plans.
The attention of many representatives of the media was focused on the PZL-130 Orlik TC-II Advanced aircraft. Questions regarding the aircraft were answered by Manuel Heredia, CEO of Airbus Poland S.A. Among the topics covered during the discussion were the differences between the MTP model, offered by the company in the past, and the current version of the aircraft. “Orlik TC-II Advanced was developed in close cooperation with our key customer, the Air Force. We are most glad that this version was received well by the Polish aviators. It is very important to us, as a company, that our key national customer is satisfied with our product. Thanks to that it will be easier for us to offer the TC-II Advanced version to potential foreign customers”, said CEO Heredia during meetings with the press. “The advantages of our aircraft include low costs of use, its safety and the fact that this platform has proved itself and operated in service and training cycle for many years”, added the CEO of Airbus Poland S.A.
